In the spirit of Dr. King’s legacy, we encourage each of you to find a way to be of service today. As a non-profit organization, Benjamin Tasker PTSO’s consistent goal is to serve you – the community.

- Joe Corbi’s Pizza Fundraiser: The BTMS Athletic Department is hosting a Joe Corbi’s Pizza Fundraiser! If you love pizza and the like, support them by logging on to Joe Corbi’s website. Select “Shop to Support” and use participation code: 710359. Hurry, as this fundraiser ends on Friday, January 19, and deliveries begin on Friday, February 9.
- BTMS STEM Fair Judges Needed: On Thursday, January 18, we are in need of judges for the BTMS STEM Fair. If you or someone you know has the time and interest to be a judge, please connect with Ms. Wilson ASAP at wilsonj@pgcps.org to lend a helping hand.
- Virtual PTSO Meeting Cancellation: Please note that the virtual PTSO meeting scheduled for tonight is canceled. We apologize for any inconvenience.
- End of 2nd Quarter: Friday, January 19, marks the end of the 2nd quarter. Encourage parents and students to check SchoolMax for any discrepancies and/or to prepare themselves for grade appeals.
- Ballin’ with the Badge – January 20, 2024: Benjamin Tasker PTSO is excited to announce its first Ballin’ with the Badge event on Saturday, January 20, 2024. This community-centered event aims to raise funds for Benjamin Tasker Middle School and Bowie PD Explorers. The event features a basketball game between City of Bowie PD and BTMS Students, appearances by local celebrities from 93.9 WKYS, raffles, Wizards Basketball Tickets, and giveaways. Doors open at 12:00 pm. Tickets can be purchased here.
